Day 22 – Favorite fandom quote?
I don’t think I’ve ever talked about how much I love Ezio. So I will! He is my favorite character in the Assassin’s Creed games. The only character that is a close enough tie is Foxy Grandpa Kenway and he’s voiced by the lovely Matt Ryan (aka Constantine in the CW shows).
Ezio’s journey was a roller coaster. I loved every minute of it. I cried, I laughed, I screamed, I lost my mind. All of it. All of those feelings were a ride.
That quote is an explanation of the creed. ‘Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted.’ This is something I would get tattooed on my shoulder blade if I wasn’t so squeamish with needles. From the first game it was really powerful and then following Ezio’s journey…all the way to the moment he says this quote.
He is entirely right. I would love to replay all of these games, it’s a shame I haven’t been able to.
Ugh, I want to go back to that world!
