Heck Week Survival

So I mentioned it last week and I’ll mention it again, Las Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián are absolutely the only time of the year I don’t enjoy. It gets super loud, super messy, and super crowded. There are people from all over the island, people who probably shouldn’t be drinking because they’re too young, and way too much promotion that ends up littering all the streets.

It didn’t get too full Wednesday night and Thursday was more chill than most. I’m guessing the rain soured a lot of people into not coming. Friday wasn’t as full as it usually gets. I ventured out with some family members that came down. It’s a nice change of pace when they come up so I made sure to have time for them.

We walked around, looked at all the artisan crafts, which is my favorite thing about the whole festival. I found this gorgeous rose quartz necklace that I cannot wait to wear. I love stars and as the rock was cut into a star shape, I pretty much had to have it.

I did see a few more things and if I wasn’t so broke I would’ve grabbed them. I did see the same lamp salesperson I saw last year. I still have the lamp in my room but I still haven’t bought the bulb to use it.

Tomorrow Adolfo says he’s coming. I’m hoping he does. I haven’t seen him since last year. I don’t even intend it as the corny joke either. I saw him months ago so it does feel like a super long time back.

Ten days left in January, just a few more days before Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out, and I still haven’t been able to finish learning a dance in 2019. But I’ve made a lot of posts this month so I have that. Progress!

Good night fam, Michi out!
