Today I took the time to get into getting ready for Irma. I took it upon myself to actually get some supplies. These being bottled water and some Chef Boyardee because it’s one of those things that doesn’t require heat in the event of a power outage.
My little sister joined me for the day and we had a lot of fun. We listened to BTS in the car and sang along to all the songs she liked while I listened to some new ones. I’ve never listened to a lot of BTS so this was great for me as I got some new songs out of it.
One of the places I went to was absurdly full but again, this happens in PR. People have been so chill about hurricanes and storms lately that being prepared happens in masses now. Before, like when I was a kid, we always had stuff on hand because we had one or two hurricanes during the whole season.
Dad is coming in early from his trip so I’ll have to pick him up at the airport tomorrow. That’s fine since now the only other thing that worries me is Irma. Destiny comes out Wednesday and I don’t know how much playtime I’ll be able to have now. Which sucks because I’ve been looking forward to this all year. Especially since my roomie is gonna be starting the game with me too. It’ll probably fare better than my venture with the first one…when I played alone.
I’ll be able to get some more FortNite in today thankfully. Doggies were fed and walked, albeit they almost tackled me again. I’m 5’2 and they’re golden retrievers, do the math.
Now off I go to kill some husks.
