Describing my own monster was an interesting experience. Usually when I write I just go straightforward into whatever I’m picturing. I think this might be the first time I was given something concrete and was told to describe that. All in all I do see where I was unclear with my description, I just used what first came to mind at the moment and what resembled it the most.
Drawing someone else’s description of a monster was cool. I think this also marks the first time I have to draw something based on someone’s descriptions. It was hard to try and understand what the writers meant, aside from trying to get into their heads to try and get the monster as close to theirs as possible.
All and all, this was really entertaining. I’ll definitely keep this exercise with me for a while.
