So I haven’t touched Fortnite in a long time. Season nine started, I claimed my free battle pass and I moved on with my life. It’s such a stark contrast from making a lot of posts about this game.
Granted, I mostly played Save the World but I haven’t touched it in a really long time. Let alone played Battle Royale.
So Wesley started streaming the other night with his brother on Twitch and I saw they were playing a Horde Rush mode. Looked like a lot of fun.
When I played it the next night, I was sad to see that I didn’t have a lot of time left with it. It was a lot more fun than I expected it to be. The best part was the ‘not having to build’ part. I was lead for the start of most of my matches.
I hated that people kept leaving me stranded though when my lead got too high. All my months playing Save the World prepared me for this exact moment. Then I’d get overwhelmed by all the aggravated enemies and die…FUN.
Regardless, it was definitely refreshing to play. It would probably be my only reason to pop back into the game. Even the sci-fi llamas don’t tempt me in Save the World. The idea of getting to hear Damien as Dennis really excites me…but I can look up the story quests on YouTube for that. Yeah, I’m that detached from the game.
Oh well, it’ll take a lot before I go back in there I guess.
